Sunday Divers boast members from all over Western Canada, dedicated to enjoying, protecting, and promoting what many consider to be the best diving in the world!
Sunday Divers Dive Club was formed in January 2008 in an effort to make scuba diving more accessible and more exciting for the average island diver. We started with a mandate to promote scuba diving throughout the community by utilizing and promoting ALL scuba shops as fairly as possible. The goal was not only to bring more divers together, but also to become a positive driving force for the dive industry as a whole.
Through incentives offered to club members, shops and manufacturers from around British Columbia now have an opportunity to reach a larger segment of the diving community. These manufacturers can gain focused exposure to a market covering the island and abroad.
Membership in this club is a nominal fee for a lifetime membership and includes special club rates on air fills, merchandise, and charters. Also included is a club T-shirt, bumper stickers, and personalized club I.D. card, which must be presented at participating shops to obtain our special club rates.
As a group we strive to make a positive impact on the local marine environment, with harbour and beach clean-up events, such as the ‘Splash for Trash’, and partnering with local community groups to develop and enhance Vancouver Island's growing artificial reefs.
Sunday Divers maintain an extremely safe and friendly environment for divers of all levels.
